Despite the individual merits of solar and wind energy systems, their intermittent nature and geographical limitations have spurred interest in hybrid solutions that maximize efficiency and reliability through integrated systems.
For on-grid applications, combining wind and solar can also offer advantages. One primary benefit is grid stability. Fluctuations in renewable energy supply can be problematic for maintaining a stable, consistent energy supply on the grid. The hybrid system can help mitigate this issue by providing a more constant power output.
Clean energy sources like wind and solar have a huge potential to lessen reliance on fossil fuels. Due to the stochastic nature of various energy sources, dependable hybrid systems have recently been developed. This paper's major goal is to use the existing wind and solar resources to provide electricity.
To resolve these shortcomings, this paper proposed a novel Energy Storage System Based on Hybrid Wind and Photovoltaic Technologies techniques developed for sustainable hybrid wind and photovoltaic storage systems. The major contributions of the proposed approach are given as follows.
